Job Summary:
Risdons Solicitors are looking for a Qualified Conveyancer to join our New Homes team in our Taunton office.
The Successful Candidate will be experienced in the new homes sector, capable of running their own case load from instruction through to completion and used to supporting colleagues. Knowledge in the site setup process and related
sales are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Setting up new sites and dealing with related sales.

Completing legal reports for team members.
-
Being responsible for the day to day running of new homes team, supporting the members with training, progression and wellbeing.

Working with our Partners to ensure adherence to regulatory, client care, performance criteria and SRA regulations and guaranteeing appropriate processes, systems and compliance are in place and in operation across your new build team including in respect of our CQS accreditation.

Managing the capacity levels of work within your team structure.

Undertaking problem solving and coaching on matters related to the conveyancing process, exhibiting a ‘can do’ attitude.

Assessing risk on all cases you are responsible for and/or complex cases escalated to you; utilising skills and experience to deliver pragmatic decision making and legal advice.

Ensuring due diligence in all areas of processing a New homes property to include help to buy, freehold, leaseholds, shared ownership and associated sales.
Qualifications / Experience:

A minimum of 2 years’ PQE within a similar role.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
